• Smaller carbon footprint. Low diesel consumption, SY Jonathan gets all its energy from 3 solar panels and one wind generator. 
  

• Reduced possible impact on the environment (vegetation and invertebrates) due to walking while visiting sites. We have a maximum 7 people onboard.​​
  

• Smaller disturbance of wildlife. On Jonathan only 6 persons at a time will go on a site visit, causing little harm to the environment.
